Click	Select. `⌘`-click toggles; `⇧`-click extends.
Double-click	Open the formula pane for a trace.
Drag a file's row out of the window	Move the file to the window you drop it on: it opens there and closes here.

Plot area, ruler and axes

Drag horizontally	Plot area	Zoom x on every track.
Drag vertically	Plot area	Zoom y on this track.
Drag diagonally	Plot area	Box zoom.
`⌘`-click	Plot area	Place a measurement cursor, with or without the panel open.
`⇧`-drag	Plot area	Select a measurement range, with or without the panel open.
Double-click	Plot area	Reset x, and this track's y.
Drag	Timeline ruler	Pan x.
Double-click	Timeline ruler	Reset x.
Drag	Y-axis	Pan y.
Double-click	Y-axis	Reset that track's y.
Drag	Handle below a track	Resize the track.
Drag	Splitter between a signal list and its y-axis	Resize the signal list on every track.
Hover	Plot area	Crosshair readout, for whatever the current mode reads.

While a measurement tool is on it claims the plot's drag gesture, so the zoom drags and double-click-to-reset are suspended there. A held modifier goes the other way: it borrows a measurement tool from a plot that is otherwise still zooming, and beats whichever tool is on (⌘ ahead of ⇧ when both are down). See Measuring.

Scrolling and pinching

Scroll vertically	Plot area	Scrolls the track list.

`⇧⌘` + scroll	Plot area	Pan this track's y.
`⌥⌘` + scroll	Plot area	Pan x and y together.
`⌘` + scroll, or pinch	Plot area	Zoom x about the pointer.
`⌥` + scroll or pinch	Plot area	Zoom this track's y about the pointer.
`⌥⌘` + pinch	Plot area	Zoom both axes by the same factor.
Scroll	Timeline ruler	Pan x.
`⌘` + scroll, or pinch	Timeline ruler	Zoom x.
Scroll	Y-axis	Nothing — the gutter keeps its drag only.

⇧ is tested before the zoom modifiers, so it decides the gesture once held. See Scrolling and pinching.

Track header

Control	Action
× (top)	Delete the track.
Chevron	Collapse the signal list.
Double-click name	Rename the track.
Y-mode icon	Open the y-axis mode popover.
Coloured dot	Open the styling popover.
× beside a signal	Remove it from the track.
Drag a signal row	Move it to another track.

Measurement panel

Gesture	Where	Action
`⌘`-click	Plot area, any tool	Drop a cursor, leaving the panel as it is.
`⇧`-drag	Plot area, any tool	Select a range, leaving the panel as it is.
Click	Plot area, cursor tool	Drop a cursor; click it again to remove it.
Drag	Plot area, cursor tool	Move a cursor, or place and position one in a single motion.
Drag	Plot area, range tool	Select a range, or drag either edge to adjust it.
Click	Plot area, range tool	Clear the range.
Click	Column header	Switch the column between absolute values and the step from the row above.
Click	Table cell	Insert a reference to it into the calculation pad.
Drag	Down a column	Insert a reference to a span of rows.
Click	A pad answer	Insert a reference to that line.
`⌘`-click	Any cell or answer	Copy it at full precision. Right-click offers the same.
Drag	Panel top edge / splitter	Resize the panel, or the pad beside the table.

In the pad, Return opens the next line and ⌫ at the head of an empty line closes it; the arrow keys walk the pad as one document. Suggestions behave as they do in the formula pane.

Formula pane

Key	Action
`Tab`	Accept the highlighted suggestion.
`Return`	Accept a suggestion, or commit the formula.
`↑` `↓`	Cycle suggestions.
`Esc`	Dismiss the list, or cancel.
