While a measurement tool is on it claims the plot's drag gesture, so the zoom drags and double-click-to-reset are suspended there. See Measuring.

Measurement panel

In the pad, Return opens the next line and at the head of an empty line closes it; the arrow keys walk the pad as one document. Suggestions behave as they do in the formula pane.

Formula pane
